I'm not in the medical industry, but I love this machine! I watched them shave my husband before bypass surgery and I was just flabbergasted that it shaved so close with one quick pass and absolutely no mess. No nicks, either, because the shaver is wrapped in a steel cover that sucks in the hair to be cut. They shaved him around the groin, thighs, stomach, chest, armpits, neck, and face, and it was a snap to just roll the device all over. They were kind of rough, too! Painless. Wish I had one.
