- Notched needle design allows for blood flashback to travel up the catheter shaft for immediate visual confirmation of vessel entry
- Catheter allows for contrast media injection for CT scans at a maximum flow rate of 6mL/sec, 300 psi while blood control valve is integrated into the catheter hub to stop blood flow after insertion until a secure Luer connection is made
