Good products but minimal communication

I ordered an Ossurr Miami MJ 300 short neck brace for my wife. In the initial set of online pages, I saw that the order was accepted and would be shipped at some point. I never received any other information as to when it might come; after approximately 10 days, a package was delivered without notification that it was coming. The time it took is not the issue; my concern is that I had no idea whether or not the neck brace would come. I ordered a second brace, from a different brand out of concern.
