Mitts appear to be Infant sized

We ordered what were thought were small Posey Mitts for a school aged child. (We actually wanted xsmall but the link did not show xsmall). The teacher has indicated that they appear to be infant sized.

Can you comment on the size we ordered and who they are meant to fit? If we need to exchange, what is the process?

Well made mitts

The material is perfect and the stitching is hidden well. The velcro strap lays flat enough that it cannot be opened with the mittens on. Overall, great product and works well for what I needed.
