Sterile Povidone Iodine Swabsticks by Aplicare

Aplicare's Saturated Swabsticks are packaged in easy open, single-use foil-laminated pouches. Each packet contains a fully saturated 4" swabstick. We have taken the extra step of terminally sterilizing the contents of each package, thus ensuring the safest possible product for the patient. Containing 10% Povidone Iodine Solution, these products have broad-spectrum germicidal action. Povidone Iodine reduces bacteria and microorganisms on the skin. The golden brown protective film formed by the solution when air-dried delineates the treated area and provides protection from contamination. It is virtually non-irritating to skin, wounds or mucous membranes. It is virtually non-staining to skin or natural fabrics. Terminally sterilized as the final step in production, both the solution and the applicator are sterile assuring a contamination free product.
